How the LinkedIn pricing calculator works

We show our working, so you can explain your rate to any brand.

1. Impressions set the base

Your average impressions per post are multiplied by a rate per 1,000 impressions for your niche. Followers show potential reach; impressions show how many people actually see you.

2. Engagement adjusts it

Higher engagement means your audience pays attention, so brands pay more. Engagement above 4% lifts the estimate; below 1% lowers it.

3. The format sets the final range

Thought Leader Ads cost more because the brand boosts your post. LinkedIn Live costs more because it takes more of your time. Each shows a range of about 20% either side.

LinkedIn influencer pricing FAQ

How much do LinkedIn influencers charge in India?

It depends on how many people see your posts, who they are and how they engage. This calculator estimates a range from your average impressions, niche and engagement rate. Creators on BigAtWork always set their own final price.

How does the LinkedIn pricing calculator work?

It multiplies your average impressions per post by a rate per 1,000 impressions for your niche, adjusts for engagement, and shows a range of about 20% either side for each format. Thought Leader Ads are priced higher because the brand pays to boost your post, and LinkedIn Live sessions higher again because they take more of your time.

Why does niche change the price?

Brands pay more to reach audiences that are harder to reach elsewhere. Finance, SaaS and AI audiences include senior decision makers, so their rate per 1,000 impressions is usually higher than general topics.

Should I use followers or impressions to price a LinkedIn post?

Impressions. Followers show potential reach, but impressions show how many people actually see your posts. Use the average of your last 10 posts from LinkedIn analytics.

Is this a quote?

No. It is an estimate from the BigAtWork pricing model, a starting point for your own rate card. We update the model as real creator rates come in.
